In early spring of 2012, Erhardt began the demolition, remodeling and expansion of the former Oakdale School, which became National Heritage Academies – River City Scholars. The project scope included the remodeling of 48,000 square feet of the existing building, with a 5,700 square feet addition. Site work was performed and a city park was created on the property. The project was completed in August for the start of the 2012–2013 school year.
