Erhardt constructed the iron removal plant for the City of Fennville's domestic water system. The plant was built around one of the city's existing 1,000 GPM wells and directly adjacent to another 1,200 GPM backup well.
The project consisted of demolishing one of the city's well houses, constructing a new 40 x 60-foot masonry building around the existing well, adding a Tonka filtration system with chemical feed equipment, compressors and blowers inside of this new facility, as well as rehabilitating the existing 1,200 GPM backup well located in a well house adjacent to the new facility. The existing backup well was tied into the new filtration system so it can also supply water to be filtered.
