The goal of Central Wesleyan Church was to have a facility built within its budget that would meet its needs for worship and also be used for fine arts productions.
This goal was met by visiting several existing facilities in and out of the state that shared comparable needs. In conjunction with Central Wesleyan and the architect, Erhardt selected and budgeted various elements until the church’s goals were met.
The 100,000 square-foot facility included seating capacity for 3,200; a full 20-foot by 60-foot orchestra pit; sophisticated sound, video and lighting systems; a large lobby and gathering space; and high-quality finishes.
