The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center is a 20-acre worship, education, recreation and cultural arts facility. The center provides an unprecedented opportunity to serve the community, especially very needy children and their families. Programs invest in relationships, growth opportunities and spiritual expression.
A state-of-the-art worship and performing arts space features multiple screens and lighting options and an auditorium that seats 400. For recreation, there is a gymnasium with two basketball courts, a suspended track for running, a 15,000 square-foot fitness center and rock-climbing wall.
The aquatics center features three 25-yard lap lanes, a 28-foot waterslide, a lazy river, a 17-person hot tub and a “zero depth” entry area with a play structure. The outdoor campus includes a 500 person ampitheatre, basketball court, playground, soccer fields and softball diamond.
The Kroc Corps Community Center is U.S. Green Building Council LEED Gold certified™.
